Legal basis:
LAW No. 544 of October 12, 2001 (with subsequent amendments and additions) regarding free access to information of public interest published in the Official Gazette no. 663 of October 23, 2001 - ART. 1: The free and unrestricted access of the person to any information of public interest, defined as such by this law, constitutes one of the fundamental principles of relations between individuals and public authorities, in accordance with the Romanian Constitution and the documents international agreements ratified by the Romanian Parliament.
HG no. 123/2002, with subsequent amendments and additions for the approval of the methodological norms for the application of Law no. 544/2001 regarding free access to information of public interest;
Access to information of public interest, pursuant to Law no. 544/2001 regarding free access to information of public interest, with subsequent amendments and additions, is ensured through the Communication Service within the Romanian Railway Safety Authority - ASFR, e-mail: office.asfr@sigurantaferoviara.ro;

In accordance with the "Methodological norms for the application of Law no. 544/2001 on free access to information of public interest" we provide you with the following:

d) HG no. 123/2002 for the approval of the Methodological Norms for the application of Law no. 544/2001 - free access to information of public interest
The application form/administrative complaint can be submitted to the Romanian Railway Safety Authority – ASFR, by one of the following methods:
- by e-mail, to the e-mail address (e-mail address: office.asfr@sigurantaferoviara.ro)
- by post to the address: Romanian Railway Safety Authority - ASFR - Calea Griviţei, no. 393, sector 1, Bucharest
- by submission to the ASFR Registry - Calea Griviţei, no. 393, sector 1, Bucharest - during working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) and Friday (8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
